THE PROCESS

CONSULTATION

The initial consultation/meeting is where we determine the scope and intention of the film. We establish the audience, message, and purpose of the film series. We determine a timeline, budget, what the final deliverables look like. The project officially begins with a contract and 50% deposit to lock in the production dates.

PRE PRODUCTION

Once a timeline for the project is agreed to, we move to pre production meeting(s) where we concept a sequence/script/story and develop a shot list and decide on locations. Once the artist signs off on the shot list we create a shot-by-shot schedule for the shoot day, complete set design, and prepare necessary permits and release forms.

PRINCIPAL PHOTOGRAPHY

Lights, Camera, Action. We primarily shoot with a team of 3-6 filmmakers who share the various roles required to keep things moving smoothly on set, including the director, cinematographer, gaffer, and production assistant.

POST PRODUCTION

Here we come up with a first cut for revision by the artist within 2 weeks, with 1 week per revision. The revision process takes place on a video review platform which allows artists and our team of producers to make time-stamped comments.

DELIVERY

The final version is delivered in the various formats outlined by the artist. If agreed to by the artist, the work will be featured on the social media channels of de Miranda Productions as well as the other members involved.
